Each piece is embroidered by hand, so colours and details vary from the photograph. That variation is the work, not a fault.
The four motifs on this runner — palm, ibis, felucca and Nile fish — are shared across the Nile Table collection, so the cloth from Akhmim and the wood from Hagaza sit together on one table. Each embroiderer stitches them in her own colours.
Hand wash cold with a mild soap, on its own for the first wash. Dry flat in the shade, since direct sun fades hand-dyed thread. Iron warm on the reverse so the embroidery keeps its relief.
Shipping terms go here once they are decided: delivery inside Egypt, international rates, and how long a made-to-order piece takes before it leaves the workshop.
